why dont original xbox games work on the new xbox 360?
i recently bought a DOA(Dead or Alive) game from amazon.com and today i was planning on playing it on my new xbox360 but it wont play. why is that? when the ps2 came out it could play the old ps1 games.(i dont know about the ps3). is this a new way of keeping people to buy the new and expensive games instead of letting them enjoy the old and funner ones?

The maximum your board can handle is 4 GB of ram. You can get that by installing two 2GB ram sticks in your motherboard. I recommend getting this set from newegg since its the fastest and most reliable for your board specifications:

I suggest looking up guides on how to install ram sticks onto your motherboard if you’ve never done it before, just so you know whats what. All motherboards are pretty much the same and its very simple and doesnt require any technical skills at all to do.

You cant install DDR3 because your motherboard wont support that. It is a faster type of ram but also more expensive and requires newer processors (quads like i5/i7) anyway.

Do note that if you are running a 32 bit version of windows, 4GB is all you’re going to be able to use (even if you had a better motherboard) because of a software limitation in itself. If you bought a 64bit version of windows you can handle as much as you want but might have to struggle with finding applications compatible with 64bit architecture.
