I’m trying to get a show border collie for conformation and junior showmanship. I heard that certain colors make it less or more noticable in the show ring.

"The Border Collie appears in all colors or combination of colors and/or markings. Solid color, bi-color, tri-color, merle and sable dogs are to be judged equally with no one color or pattern preferred over another. White markings may be clear white or ticked to any degree. Random white patches on the body and head are permissible but should not predominate. Color and markings are always secondary to physical evaluation and gait"

Essentially, a judge shouldn’t have a color preference or judge with one. As a working/herding breed, your dog should be primarily judged on his conformation and ability to perform his job. Many people love and think of black and white ‘tuxedo’ markings as being the best color for a Border Collie, but it isn’t breed standard criteria. There is no specific color that wins more unless the color is just much more common. The decision is made on how the dog conforms to the standard. The thing with certin color dogs is the colors the handler wears can make them blend into the handler from a distance, for example if you have a black and white for example don’t where black or white, wear something like pale blue or green instead, or if you have a red and white don’t wear brown or white.

I have shown dogs since 1977 and I don’t care what people say when it comes to colour preference from a judge – It IS there, it DOES happen.
Given that you have 2 dogs, of equally good confirmation, tail set, head, gait etc., a judge will 99 percent of the time go for the black and white. They are startling.
That is not to say that another colour won’t beat your B+W if it is of inferior quality to it’s competitor. I am only saying it happens when all else is equal. Same happens in labradors, a chocolate of equal quality will never beat a yellow or a black and some judges will put up yellows over blacks consistently and vice versa for other judges. Remember I did qualify it – all else being equal.

I also dogs in conformation and junior showmanship, but with Cardigans. Although color shouldn’t make any difference to a judge as long as the dog has good structure, lets face it, there are judges that prefer certain colors even though there might be a dog with much better structure that isn’t the color they prefer. Like in Cardis, a red cardigan is sometimes nearly impossible to finish as opposed to a blue or brindle. As for BCs, although I really like the fawn/blonde whatever you call it color, I find the traditional black and white to be more striking. Its the same in Cardis.
If your talking junior showmanship, its a whole different ball game. Once again judges aren’t suppose to do this, but judges not only notice more flashy breeds, but its also about who you know and how much you show. Like, there is a girl who shows in my area who’s mom is a pretty well known handler and she gets around herself too, and to top that off she shows a Dobie, which are very showy/flashy dogs. So she is more likely to get picked over me with my Cardigan for those reasons alone. It’s sad, but true. Just do your best, practice practice practice, and show your dog well, sometimes a judge will come along that will pick while most just ignored you. Remember if your a suckish handler you have no chance, but if you are a good handler you at least have the right to be judged fairly and possibly get picked.
The only advice I can give you is KNOW YOUR JUDGES. Keep tabs on them, watch what they pick, do they like movement, do they look more to structure than movement, do they pick this color dog a lot even though there were ones of different color but better structure in the ring, would they automatically pick a special or would they put up a puppy if it was good enough, and if they picked your dog or made a good comment about your dog then look out for that judge at another show to show to again, they may or may not put your dog up again, but at least you have a better shot at it than if you were going on a straight gamble.

That sounds very Fun and Skitty is right! I have seen a bunch of Videos on Youtube that shows worthless pokemon like Magikarp beat powerful pokemon like Dragonite and Milotic through the use of the Smeargle strategy.

For your smeargle, replace Dark Void with spore unless you are paranoid about putting both pokemon to sleep in double battles.

Also, with the huge amount of bulk in ubers, you will have trouble OHKOing them before they OHKO you back but Focus sash should fix that it you have max HP. Weather changers like Groudon and Tyranitar can also ruin your fun. Sunlight redues thunder’s accuracy and Surf’s Power whereas Sandstorm negates the use of focus sash because your HP is lowered (except cranidos).

I’ve also seen a similar one on Youtube — A Smeargle knowing Belly Drum, Spore, Agility, and Baton Pass. It’ll put the Pokemon to sleep with spore, use agility, then belly drum, and then switch out to any Pokemon… And it will rock. (Ironically, on this video a Skitty was the one who took everything out. <3)

If you were to become a giantess and saw godzilla attacking a city what would you do? This city also contains your loved ones. Also give a lot of details the more the merry, don’t be shy.

I never intend on becoming a giantess but if I did I would definitely fight the godzilla that was attacking a city. If it had my loved ones in it too then I would fight even harder. I would hope to live through the battle but before I would fight I would get as many people as I could out of harm’s way. Like I would hide them somewhere far away then run back to the city to fight the monster. I wouldn’t like to be super gory when fighting it, but I would grab a huge pole or something like that and then hit him across the face with it. I would maybe just try to knock him out then finish him off quickly and cleanly. Or I would call in the navy or a vet to give him one of those shots that you give to your old pets so they die peacefully. Oh, so must be talking about the battle that Mr. Godzilla and I had a few days ago, right?
Well, if you want to know the details….

Well first of all, the reason I turned into a giantess the same reason Mr. Godzilla turned huge; mutation due to atomic radiation.

A few days ago, Mr. Godzilla was taking a walk by my city, when suddenly someone in the city told him a yo mama joke. "Yo mama is so fat when I tried to drive around her I ran out of gas." Well, Mr. Godzilla didn’t know it was a joke, since his mother really is fat, so he got mad and started to attack the city. The police came to me and told me to help them, since Godzilla was too powerful for them to handle. I got my trusty giant spear that I always carry around for moments like these, and ran up to Godzilla and told him to cut it out. He then turned to me, and we started to have a martial arts battle of skill. Let me just say, Mr. Godzilla is GOOD at martial arts. After about an hour of that, I started to get tired, so I came up with plan B. I ran home and made a giant cookie, and then gave it to Mr. Godzilla and said "Why can’t we all just get along?" After that, we became the bestest of friends.

So the moral of this story is, don’t call Mr. Godzilla’s mom fat.

Okay, so first of all, I am thinking that I want it on my back. Basically in the area where my heart is(?)
I am planning on a cross with a modern robertson kilt design inside, with a rose blooming around it. A swallow will be flying out of the rose, with a scottish thistle in it’s mouth.
Underneath the tattoo will say ‘Rip Papa’ and have the dates.

The reason for it being so scottish is because my papa is a Scotsman .
The rose is just representing my love for him.
I decided on a swallow because one of his tattoos he had was a swallow.
It also represents hope.
So, I am guessing the length of the tattoo will be about 7-8 inches, and the width probably around the same.
It will have a lot of color.
I do imagine that this will cost A LOT.

I would say it probably would cost roughly about $ 400.00 i say $400 because of the fact i have just symbols on myself and it is about 2 inches high by 3inches wide (with the space) and it cost 50. and it is one solid color.

I feel like I am loosing everything?
I have 2 kids with my husband of 4 yrs, We have built a house, getting ready to start a business, we were trying for another baby, We are now going get a divorce because of some "unforgivable" things my husband has done, I have lately been a victom of sevire physical and mental abuse, and though I DO NOT want to be with him, because I cannot take any more I am sad to think that I am "loosing" everything, the house i have worked so hard for, a business, the only thing i can say that keeps me going is my kids. I am afraid of being alone, I am afraid no one would want me bc i have 2 kids, i just really need some words of encouragement =(

You’re just disappointed. It’s natural. You’re grieving the loss of what you thought would be in your life for a long time.

Just remember that 5 years from now this will only be an unpleasant memory. Two kids is not a deterrent for most men! Many single adults have a kid or two and possibly a divorce or two under their belt, lol. You’ll have a house again some day, and being alone is really really helpful with personal growth. Just surrender to it and don’t forget to treat yourself well. Discover something that makes you happy and confident and do it. Learn something, socialize, etc.

We’re creatures of habit. It’s always scary to take the first steps in a new direction. Try to remember that before the marriage you were, in fact, alone and probably quite comfortable with it.

As far as possessions: You need essentials. All else is optional. In time, it will all work out. The tough part is to have faith that it will. I’ve seen much tragedy in my professional life. The saddest were always the incidents where people gave up in desperation. The sun always rose the next day…

look.. jus b practical.. find a work of ur caliber outside ur husand’s business..be financially independant. next, if ur husband abuses u physically or mentally, report it to the police-atleast they will keep a track of the happenings with u.
thirdly, b very forward regarding ur kis cuz they shudnt b hampered by all these..

Material things dont make a life.. and deep down u know that.. what i think your feeling mostly is the loss of the "dream" , but where one door closes another one opens.. and ALOT of guys dont have problems being with a woman that has kids, heck most of the single "men" out there have children of their own from their own divorces.. so thats just crazy thinking there..

The great thing about material things, is u can always buy more.. u cant buy your mental status, you cant buy your phsyical status, you cant buy your childrens mental stability.. You’ve made the right choice.. your just scared of the unknown .. (been there done that) but once u get things started again, and get into a routine.. you wont be so scared.. and u’ll end up feeling like this huge weight has been lifted off of u.. Life goes on.. and houses, cars , jobs.. they tend to come and go.. your "life" doesnt revolve around those things, your life is your family.. and doing what is right for all of u , is more important then any material thing.. u can always buy another.. lifes to short to stress about the little things.. .. u deserve to be happy, u deserve to be treated with respect, your children deserve to be raised in a happy, healthy home with out witnessing anger and abuse.. your children deserve to feel safe and secure in their own home and not worried about what may or may not happen today.. and thats more important then owning a house, or starting a business.. and with a horrible , disfunctional marriage why on earth would u want to bring another child into that ??? And your not "alone" u have 2 children that are dependent on you.. find the strength within you for them.. and you’ll eventually see down the road u made the right choice.. again its just scary because u dont have a crystal ball to show u that it will all work out.. u just have to have Faith..

It is scary to venture forth, and loose the things you worked for. But life does have a way of working out in spite of loosing a spouse, or having to move on. everyone who has ever had to make the decision to leave their spouse is sad even if they know they have to. It is a big shock to have to venture into the unknown, but its far better than to continue to be abused. The man and home can be replaced, your life can’t be.

Girl let me tell you, I went through the same exact scenario as you have. and i will say get out when you can as soon as you can and don’t look back. Concentrate on what your gut is telling you to do, but remind your self that its best for you, trust me it’s going to feel like the end of the world, afraid of being alone, not strong enough to make it in the world. But ask yourself are you with in your heart and mind and your guts Are you the person you know that you are. inside yes she is still there, outside and to your surroundings your not. and that is because of the mental abuse. my ex husband use to tell me you cant leave me because no one will ever take you in and your two kids. Put me down not in harsh words just always small or big gestures that were hurtful or put doubt with my own self, well make a long story short I wasted 5 years of begging and asking him to leave and always within those years of bull crap and built of frustration of my own sanity to free myself to be happy again, knew what i needed to do to be me and for my children, up and left everything behind everything that i bought my apartment furniture, luckily my mom let me stay with her to get back on my feet, and had to get a restraining order, so he couldn’t call, or show up because of the guilt of feeling like everything is my fault when it wasn’t, but hearing him or seeing him come by and being nice, would keep drawing me back because of my lack of self esteem and fear of loneliness. Find some outside of support, family councilor to help with taking the steps of finding you again. and just do it, don’t listen to the crap he tries to make You feel guilty of what ever about , and believe you me, There are plenty of better fish in the see, I found many and finally found one that keeps me happy, the key is don’t jump into another relationship too fast or it will fail you need you good luck i hope things work out for you

How Do I Delete Web Pages For Quicker Viewing In Tabbed Browsing?
I recently discovered tabbed browsing and I personally hate it. My parents use my laptop sometimes and they use tabbed browsing all the time. I typed in "outube" on google today by accient and if you havent typed it in yet, it brings you to a porn site. After closing the page, first thing I did was check my tabbed browsing, an, sure enough, theres the shortcut to outube!…gahh…Is there a way to delete it or something? I cant let them see this. Thanks
