Teens: Am I the only one that is?
Okay so I know some girls who say they are very religious(Christian). They go to church, they look down on those who are not Christian and overall they just seem to be following the bible to a T.

Now here is what bothers me. These girls have sex. Pre-marital sex does not bother me one bit because I think that it is natural. I just do not understand how girls who say they are so religious, can have sex, and keep having sex and still think they are super religious! I mean, everyone "sins" and that is fine, no one is perfect. I know a girl who had sex once and regrets it to this day because she feels like she made a huge mistake. I don’t think religious people should feel guilty for the rest of their lives, I just don’t understand how they can still look down on me when they are going against their god?

Sorry if you are religious and have sex but you do not look down on anyone because they are not religious. Again, I have sex so how can I say it is wrong for anyone to do it. I just do not get it. It is the same as if someone who claimed to be very religious stole a lot. I just do not get it at all. Anyone agree or disagree?
Okay first of all I am 17 and I use birth control pills and condoms so I am safe haha. Also I am not Christian or reigious at all.
Miach-Haha I’m the whore? You’re the one who had sex without a condom and got your girlfriend pregnant.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret. You know the people who tell you about how much they go to church, or how holy they are, or how bad you are because of whatever reason?

They aren’t true Christians. A True Christian doesn’t judge others (Judge not lest ye be judged) and certainly doesn’t look down on people, because the true Christian understands that nobody is perfect and everybody has flaws.

Lastly all Christians sin. Every single of them. Everybody sins. Pre-marital sex is just another sin, which I’m not saying it’s ok to sin, I’m just saying that everybody sins. They’re no different than the kid who lies all the time or the kid who steals things. They’re still sinning, and they still need to repent for that.

The point of being a Christian isn’t to be a perfect saintly angel, it’s doing the best you can to serve God and do his will according to his word, and following his law. Everyday Christians screw up, and every day they will ask for forgiveness.

These girls don’t sound like very good people. I say this because people like that are what keep me from being a Christian. Right now I believe in God and (try) to do good but won’t associate myself with a group of people like that.

Basically for people like that religion isn’t a personal thing, it’s a thing to prove to themselves they aren’t bad people. nine times out of ten, with people like that, they’ll follow the bible perfectly until it’s inconvenient for them or if it interferes with something they want to do. They have no faith at all, just a security blanket.

I agree but people do make mistakes expecially teens but if they having sex then i totally am on your side
kelly girl | Jan 14, 2010

I agree. These girls are very hypocritical and it’s annoying to think they aren’t as good as they say they are. I’ve had sex with one person and that’s my current boyfriend now and we really like each other and I know we won’t be together forever. I feel very awkward sometimes when I go to church because of what I do. I also smoke, and drink sometimes and that makes me feel worse. I know I can’t help it because it’s just something everyone my age experiences with sometime in their life but all I know is that Jesus Christ came on this each and died for our sins and the only way to get into heaven is if you truly believe he is the Savior and I do believe that. I love Jesus and God and I know that we sin and it’s bad to keep sinning when we know it’s wrong, but we’re all not perfect. That’s why in the bible we’re refered to as "sheep" because sheep are the dumbest animal ha.
???? ????? | Jan 14, 2010

Sounds like these girls and you are very young. First of all, please be careful if you are sexually active. There is a lot more to life that you need to be doing right now besides worrying about getting pregnant, boys, sex, etc. There is more to sex than the physical part. Fornication is a sin no matter who you are, religious or not. But if you have one partner whom you love and as long as your not sleeping around with other people I can understand premarital sex. These girls you are talking about are just being hypocritical. And if you are a christian you are not too look down on others who are not.

im a christian an i had sex for the first time at 13 an i dont regret any of it i dont look down at teens who have sex im 17 have a 3 year old little girl an two months pregnant with another one it is the best thing that has ever happend to me
Lacie | Jan 14, 2010

My boyfriend & I are both christian teens but we still have sex,
and i still get insanely drunk.
Our families dont know about the sex because’ they would be hurt because of the religion.
I have apologized to God for my sin and said SORRY but i have to continue,
it is very wrong though
and i would possibly retract ever loosing it,
We are getting married, but i still think its correct to wait no matter how desperate you are because at the time it feels right but in reality a few years later it ain’t so good!

I bought what I think are some Dead Sea Scrolls at a garage sale… could they be worth something?
They prophecy the coming of the Beatles, the earthquakes in Haiti and the Bay area and some other stuff like the end of the world which is not in 2012 like some jokers are saying but I can’t say any more until I get paid. Sorry! Does any body know or can help authenticate them? I will sell them for the right price!!

moved sims 3 to my external hd before reformat, and now it wont run?
before i reformatted my computer, i moved the entire "electronic arts" folder to my external hard drive, hoping i could just move it back to my computer and that it would run again. i clicked the launcher but it said "the game cannot work without d3dx9_31.dll" or something, so i went out and downloaded d3dx9_31.dll from another site, and i got past the loading screen and everything, but right before the game actually let me pick the neighborhood, it said "the game cannot run, the installation is incomplete" …. so what other files do i need in order for this to run, or what can i do to prevent my game data from being overwritten? (like if i were to reinstall the game)

hmmm my gues would be that it also installs system files to ther folders try reinstalling it then copying your ea folder over the new installed one im not 100% sure but i know some game saves on some games go in ur my documents folder fingers crossed that sims 3 dont.
Sinister | Jan 12, 2010

You need to still reinstall it. The only part of the sims that has to be saved is all in the folder called eagames which is generally in your my documents folder. That folder contains all your saved information. By reformatting the system files are no longer there which will require you to reinstall the game. Just dont lose the eagames folder wherever you saved it and dont let it get re-written over even if you have to temporarily rename it. Re install then copy paste the saved eagames folder into your my documents.

Battlestar Galactica – Newbe?
I haven’t watched any of it but I have heard it is a great series and am going to start. My local library has all the episodes, but what I am wondering is what order do I watch it in?

I see there is a mini-series, a movie (Razor), a web series and then the televised seasons (1-4).

What order am I supposed to watch them for optimal viewing pleasure?

Okay, I am obsessed, LOVE THE SHOW, email whenever to talk about it.

Watch for sure the MINI SERIES 1ST, it will let you know if you want to watch the rest, and the twist at the end preps you for the regular seasons.

Watch Season 1 – then Season 2 – then Season 3 – then RAZOR – then the wonderful Season 4.
White Tiger Lexus | Feb 25, 2009

The show is rather long and complex (but great!), so there’s a lot to watch. Here is everything you should watch, in this order:

1. 2003 Miniseries (3 hour special before Season 1)

2. Season 1

3. Season 2 (this season box set should have six discs)

4. Webisodes: The Resistance (a series of ten 2-3 minute clips that can be found on Youtube)

5. Season 3

6. Webisodes: Razor Flashbacks (I think these can be found on Youtube, but I know that all 7 parts feature on the Razor movie DVD)

7. Razor (TV movie. It can be found on DVD, and Razor is also included (on the first disc) in the season 4.0 box set)

8. Season 4.0 (ten episodes)

9. Webisodes: The Face Of The Enemy (a series of ten 2-3 minute clips that can also be found on Youtube)

10. Season 4.5 (the final half of the last season. The next episode of it is due to air next Friday. These episodes have been airing every friday since January 16th, and there is only four more episodes to go, I think)

11. The Plan (Another TV movie, approximately two hours in length)

Another television series, called "Caprica" (a spin-off of Battlestar Galactica) is to be released. It is a prequel to BSG, set fifty years before the events of Battlestar Galactica.

Sorry for my long answer, there’s just so much to watch! I hope you like the show.

Hey thanks Raymond, yeah most of the stuff I put here I like. I threw in some I don’t for good measure (Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna…) Some of these I’ve only heard bits from (Palestrina for one).

Good to see other true audiophiles on here.
I almost wish I got more obscure now… I didin’t even throw…

… at you! Ha! It just keeps cumming… anyone who can get all these is truly a demi-God at the level of R&P user King Crimson.
Darth, c’mon. Do you really think I’d get so worked up about… HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU ONLY GIVE TRANSATLANTIC A 6! YOU FUCKING… just kidding. But do The Beach Boys really get a 0? :P
You’ve really heard Astral Project, Darth? I didn’t expect anyone to have heard them. They don’t even have a wiki. :P
Dammit Libby! I was going to put Kayak, Ange AND Giles, Giles, & Fripp, but I ran out of room! :P

Stumped you with 5bridgeS though. STUMPED YOU ALL! :P

I’ve heard of Current ‘93 too, I guess I’ll look into it. It is my duty.
Yes Libby, that would be biblical.
Libby, if you do that, you will get BA. :P Unless someone else does it too, with the artists laid out nice and easy to read. :P
I’ll see what my Crimson magic can do about that bubble bath, Libby. It’s a bit rusty… those chains of prison moons and whatnot. :P
One more God-like edit, in which I give my ratings for the bands… AND ANSWER MY BQS! I will have truly conquered Y!A if I pull this off… ok, it’ll be more than one edit. :P
