Would the Catholic Church be so powerful in numbers of members today?
if they did not forced the earliest Jewish disciples of Christ, and non believers by the sword to convert or die.
Do you think we lost a significant amount of Jesus Christ value system that roamed around during the 300 plus years before the Pagan temple, who later became the Catholic Church, pirated and distorted the faith and teaching of Jesus Christ? And condemned all those who opposed the Catholic Church as heretics.
How many christians did Romans, murder and tortured, before Constantine decided to trick the growing population of Jesus followers, to fight in his war (needing the men power)? By claiming that God spoke to him("by this cross, you shell conquer"). Like George Bush did to Americans, claiming God spoke to him.
Where in the Bible does it say that, Jesus said, he would rebuilt his temple from the blood of the innocent, defenseless, in the name of Greed, Power, and Hate? I thought the temple he spoke about was his body.
@Alice
let me explain it in layman terms.
Jesus died.
After his death the Jewish deciples( The Jewish deciples of Christ, later named Christians to mock them. they were also of gentile origin) continue to pass on the word. Those remainded in roman territories, 300 plus years after the Jesus death, and the catholic church was formed. Were forced to become Catholics.
This isn’t hate, this is truth. And I am a non-denomination christian. My lord is Jesus the Christ, not the Pope.
Let me guess, you have never studied the history of the early Church have you? I am a former professor of early ecclesiastical history who was trained at two Protestant seminaries and I must inform you that your version of history is nothing more than nonsense. I pray you make the effort to learn the truth instead of trusting in your vivid imagination. Did you create this faux history all by yourself or did you read some anti-Catholic propaganda that fed your creativity? God bless!

Maybe you weren’t aware, but about 500 years ago a whole lot of people formed what we call the Protestant Reformation.
Your question is just silly.

well it would minus out all of south america. the way they* treated the natives(*early spanish explorers) really shows the true kindness of catholics, capturing the emperor, demanding a ransom, taking the ransom, still executes the emperor but instead offers a quicker death of strangulation if the emperor converts to christianity, then continues on blood march.

So the Catholic Church existed when the "earliest Jewish disciples of Christ" were on earth, and yet didn’t exist until "300 plus years" later? Make up your mind. Perhaps adjusting your tinfoil hat will help.

Your question makes no sense. Earliest Jewish disciples of Christ were Jesus’ followers. So basically you’re saying that Jesus’ followers threatened to kill other followers of Christ if they didn’t convert. Makes NO sense. You should brush up on your history because the history you have is absolutely wrong.
While the Church did have its corrupted leaders, Constantine was not one of them. He ended the Christian persecution. And by comparing Constantine to George Bush it is clear that you have bought into anti-Catholic propaganda and conspiracy theories. Grow up.
Catholics weren’t the only ones who had corrupted leaders. What about the Puritans? They burned and killed many innocent people because they believed them to be witches. Other denominations of Protestantism tortured and killed many innocent people because they wouldn’t convert.
